Retail Customer Service Sales Representative, part-time

Part-time Retail Sales Associate Position--in a fun environment at a small gift store in a small town.... let’s talk!

Our team members must be enthusiastic about the opportunity in this engagement.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Part-time flexible schedule with 14-20 hours/week.

• Mostly day hours between 10am - 3:30pm.

• Must be within 10 minutes of 23 Thompson St, Winchester, MA.

• You must have reliable personal transportation.

• Experience in a retail environment & knowledge of POS (point of sale) programs a plus.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

 

Sweet SurpriZe has a fun, welcoming environment for customers of all ages to shop for gifts, candy & clothing at low prices. It is best known for its candy "wall" and town merchandise. 

Our focus is on community involvement and great customer service!  Comfy chairs are available for customers to stay, chat and share ideas.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in retail a plus

 

CORE SKILLS, ABILITIES

•  Must have clear, concise and correct spoken English language skills

•  Must demonstrate extremely friendly, courteous, pleasant, and gracious demeanor

•  Must have proficiency with keyboarding and screen management.

•  Experience in MS Word, MS Excel and Internet Explorer. Accurate keyboarding proficiency at 20 words per minute.

•  Must have reliable personal transportation during all possible shift hours.

•  Must possess desire, energy, flexibility, enthusiasm.

 Proof of U.S. citizenship or ability to work in the United States required.
