The owner, Heidi Rutstein DiLeo, has over 30 years of business experience.  In 2019 she decided to leave the corporate world and do something fun where she would spread happiness and be able to give back to the community she loves.  

 

Heidi is a long time Winchester resident and raised 1 son in the Winchester public schools, who is now in college.  As a Town Meeting member and active community volunteer, she is wonderful at bringing people together to unite for positive change, especially with educational equity for all children.

And about the store...

Heidi was thrilled to become the owner of this store in July, 2019.

Sweet SurpriZe has a fun, welcoming environment for customers of all ages to shop for gifts, candy & clothing at low prices.  It is best known for its candy "wall" and town merchandise. 

​

Its focus is on community involvement and great customer service!  With its newly renovated store, there are comfy chairs to stay and chat and share ideas.
